As we all know in the legal profession, not all attorneys are created equal. Unfortunately, not every attorney can be placed into a legal position by a recruiter. We represent only select candidates with solid legal backgrounds including education and experience. Our strength lies in our system and approach to legal recruiting and in our ability to identify and present to candidates positions that match your career goals. We will have in depth discussions with you about your career as an attorney and your career development thus far. We want to know where your strengths and weaknesses lie as a practicing attorney and about your significant accomplishments. We want to know what drives you, what type of personality you have, and what type of environment works best for you. From there, we will only present you with opportunities that align with your legal career goals and only those that are best suited to your education, experience and interests.

Our recruiters provide honest and direct feedback with regard to your "place-ability" (marketability) after a full, in-depth evaluation of your resume, transcript and a screening by a BPS legal recruiter. Feedback is also based upon a number of factors including the current state of the market in which you practice, your chosen practice area, and your expectations, education, background, and salary requirements vs. market value for someone in your position.

BPS provides attorneys with comprehensive information about the legal job opportunities for which they are recruiting. At BPS we believe it is our job to educate and to provide you with detailed and specific information about positions. We are your opportunity giver but you are ultimately the opportunity taker – it is your decision alone whether to pursue any given attorney opening. We will discuss with you billable hour requirements, salary ranges and benefits, bonus structures and partnership tracks. Even more important to finding the right position, BPS recruiters will discuss with you firm and practice group culture, expectations and the working environment.
